The warranty is valid only if the recommended maintenance has been followed.
It does not cover third-party damage, consequential damage, lifting, towing, or improper handling.
Defects and faults must be reported within three (3) months of discovery.
Warranty starts upon delivery of the boat.
1. Recommended Maintenance
The warranty is valid only when the following maintenance is performed.
1.1 Exterior Surfaces
The boat must be rinsed with fresh water after each use to prevent discoloration and salt build-up. Wash using
Hempel’s Boat Shampoo or similar solvent-free soap.
Polishing must be carried out 1–2 times per year, depending on climate and number of operating hours.
Pontoons must be cleaned with soap intended for Hypalon pontoons, e.g., August Race LIQUID RIB.
1.2 Aluminium and Metal Parts
Rinse with fresh water after use. Wash with Hempel’s Boat Shampoo or similar solvent-free soap.
Inspect and lubricate moving parts regularly.
Folding cleats should be lubricated with LIQUI MOLY 3312 silicone lubricant.
1.3 Decking
Teak must be cleaned with suitable products, e.g., HEMPEL Teak Cleaner, and may be treated with Höveling Golden Teak 3 Sealer.
Avoid strong chemicals that may damage the surface.
1.4 Cushions
Clean with fresh water after use. For deeper cleaning, use Jotun Textile Clean and impregnate with Jotun Textile Watershield.
Store dry and covered when not in use.
2. Electrical Systems
Maintenance charging of batteries must be carried out every 6 weeks. During storage, when the battery is disconnected, maintenance charging every 12 weeks is sufficient.
Check terminals, connection points, cables, connectors, and batteries.
3. Engine
Follow the engine manufacturer’s service program and maintenance schedule.
4. Warranty Limitations
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, neglect, or lack of maintenance.
Damage caused by modifications, alterations, or the use of non-original parts is not covered.
Normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.
Thin, hairline cracks in gelcoat/paint where surfaces meet are considered normal for a high-speed boat and are not covered by the warranty.
Damage that occurs when the boat is exposed to greater G-forces than permitted for the specific boat model is not covered by the warranty.
Wear-and-tear parts such as anodes, oils, coolant, and antifouling paint are considered consumables and are not covered by the warranty.
